The wilderness area surrounding Ear Falls contains countless lakes and rivers teaming with a variety of sport fish including walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass and lake trout. The town of Ear Falls itself is located at the outflow of the English River at Lac Seul. Convenient public boat launches provide fishermen with direct access to these waters. You can also take advantage of great hunting for moose, whitetail deer, black bear, small game and waterfowl on vast untouched wild lands.
Besides great fishing and hunting, the Ear Falls area also boasts numerous other recreation opportunities including festivals, a 9 hole golf course with lounge and rentals, ATV trails (local access to trails including the Griffith Mine heritage trail system), public and wilderness beaches as well as access to various canoe routes and provincial parks.
